First of all, this is a paradise for history lovers and archaeologists. The public security of this small city is very good. In fact, it is not hot for a period of time in the early morning every day, but it is very suitable to cover the quilt.

Its an ancient city and I would highly recommend people to visit it. Most people don't travel to small cities in Thailand but this city has so much ancient history, its a must to understand Thailand and its culture. The king from here started the Thai script and pushed for the language to thrive. Its a must if you visit Thailand.

Sukhothai is a nice city nested in an enchanting greenery region. If you like nature, splendid trees, historical ruins, legends, people smiling, good food and a relaxing atmosphere... it is the right place

The historical park is very pleasant to visit.
The historical park is very pleasant to visit. There were a few tour groups, but the area is so large we never felt crowded. Lots of trees and lakes, scenic and cool. We only spent one morning on our visit and we saw several sites; of course there were many we did not see. We did not hire a guide as we only had a short time. Doing so would add meaning to the experience. Definitely get a bike; we rented from KStop, right in front of the entrance; 30 bhat. The park also offers transportaton for those who need/want that service.

We hired a guide, bicycles and cycled around Sukhothai.
We hired a guide, bicycles and cycled around Sukhothai. It was fabulous to see the daily lives of people living there and appreciate the ancient temples and monuments which form the origins of the town. It is very flat, so cycling was not challenging. We did climb up to see one ancient Buddha at the top of a hill, but that was optional. Sukhothai is not well known on the tourist trail, so we felt that we had the place to ourselves, but it is very under-rated. It is not a "bright-lights" city like Bangkok but if you enjoy history and gorgeous scenery, then I highly recommend a visit.
The room had a great space, bed and pillows were comfortable, great breakfast the coconut soup was even better than some restaurants, a really comfy space were the pool is located. You can ask for a massage it was really good and they go to your room so it’s relaxing and private, also you can rent a bicycle there and move around, just be careful at night in the Main Street are a lot of dogs and apparently they bit to some tourist.
Also the restaurant near the hotel do not taste good only has a good appearance.
The owners are super helpful, flexible and friendly.
The hotel is just like in the pictures. Spacious rooms with clean bathrooms. The swimming pool is a bonus, it has its own shower and toilet, which is very handy with children.
Walking distance to restaurants and shops. However, 13k from old Sukotai so need to spend extra money to travel to the ruins. The hotel provides shuttle service, which we took and it also included transfer to bus station later on the day.
I would highly recommend this place!
I loved Le Charme. The resort is beautiful with a pool and ponds with Lilly pads. It’s is quiet at night and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff were very helpful with anything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. It was a little bit of a walk to the historical park but I wouldn’t have wanted to be much closer because of how busy it is there. There are also bikes you could use to make it easier to get there
Stylish bungalows in a lovely garden setting. Clean, with strong wifi, spacious bathroom, fridge and aircon. Very nice and helpful host, also owner of the friendliest dog, Panda:) very quiet.
It's located a bit away from town, the distance is walkable, but it's a bit dark with some stray dogs on the way. Your best bet is a scooter or a tuk-tuk (grab wasn't available in Sukhothai).
The manager was very friendly and helpful. It was an extremely busy time in Sukhothai because it was the same weekend as the Sukhothai marathon however, whenever we needed something fixed, staff responded promptly. The grand Deluxe Room was beautifully laid out with a nice view of the pond. Very well located near the historic park and restaurants.
The host is super nice, friendly, very helpful & accommodating. Breakfast is really good. The host even lend us bicycles for free to get around Sukhothai. The location of the property is really good. Near to all attractions, eateries, restaurants & Sukhothai Historical Park. We are looking forwards to staying with Sano House again.
The breakfast was very good and tasty, there were Thai dessert too. The owner is very attentive and can tell that he is very devoted to his service to his guest 👍🏼 he speaks very good English too. the room and bed were comfy and room is BIG too. Will stay at the hotel again if I return to Sukhothai.
Have stayed here multiple times in Sukhothai. The owner is super kind and helpful, and they do a great job switching up their breakfast menu so you don’t get tired of it if you’re there multiple days. Amazing location as well—right by the heart of downtown Sukhothai, but quiet and relaxing too.
Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Clean and spacious room with a fridge, hot water kettle, and bottled water. Appreciated the toast in the mornings. Short walk to Sukhothai historical park central zone. Also close to 7-Eleven and some restaurants as well as the bus stop to Chiang Mai.
The owner, Joum, and her family are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the location were wonderful. The hotel is only a two-minute bicycle ride, or a 3-5 mins walk, away from the entrance to the Old Sukhothai Park, restaurants, bike rentals, and a shop.
very cozy, breakfast was very good and people were very nice. the room is big and has a great terrace to just enjoy a breezy night. loved this hotel, wish i stayed longer. There is a restaurant at walking distance from hotel with amazing food.
The rooms were well-appointed, comfortable, and very clean. The grounds were beautifully kept, and the restaurant was particularly good. The highlight of the hotel, for me personally, was the staff - very courteous, helpful, and proactive.
The hotel is incredibly beautiful and the staff very attentive. In particular, I loved the architecture, the swimming pool and the food in the restaurant which was excellent. It's really 11/10 :)
very clean. spacious rooms. Owner Toh was very helpful with logistics & spoke prefect English. 18 minute walk from bus station. good location in new Sukhothai - not by the historical park.
Very welcoming- we arrived late & the restaurant reopened to accommodate us. Staff very helpful. Room pleasant and clean. A 20 minute “Grab” ride away from Sukhothai temples.
friendly and helpful host. good connection to Old Sukhothai. exceptional lobby, marvelous enteriour (reception, and sitting place, clean). recommendation.
Perfect location, near the ruins of Sukhothai. It is extremely convenient to be able to take the bicycles of the hotel. The personal were just the nicest!
It's so close to Sukhothai Historical Park that you can walk or ride a bike. And there're a lot of food venders and the hotel is even near a local market.
