We spent an evening and a morning here. We arrived mid-pm direct from DMK Bangkok airport by train which took less than an hour and cost less than a pound. We went to a temple for sunset, visited a busy night market and had dinner by the river. Next am we drove around in a tuk tuk for 3 hours and visited nearly all the temples. Hot work but totally rewarding. I guess with more time we'd have done the museum as well although there's a lot of Ayutthaya to see in the National Museum in Bangkok.

Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place.
Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place. You can even dress up and get photo in traditional dress, or kick back in a local bar along one of the canals or go to the little floating market or the night market. Fun place, but lots of walking. Good value for money paid.

Great stay.
Great stay. We needed a few extra days to get around due to an elderly traveller however would recommend 2-3 days here, and a mix of night time and day visits to the temples. This is true old school Thailand, friendly, laidback and local pricing away from awful advantages tourism (sex, drugs, fire twirling)

The historical sites are interesting, and there are a variety of ways to see them. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and most drivers speak some English. If you want to hire a tuk tuk driver to take you to see various sites, the rates is 300 baht per hour. You can also visit l the sites individually and get a tuk tuk for about 100 baht. There is also the option of walking. Several sites are in close proximity and are easily walked or bikes can be rented, if you prefer. There is also a nice boat roar that will take you to various sites along the river for 200 baht per person. The boat trip lasts for a couple of hours.

We loved Ayutthaya and the history but did find that out of all the locations we visited in Thailand that Ayutthaya was the most dirty and rundown. There were large areas of large garbage dumps and with that the associated smell. Drivers also seemed to be very impatient. We were extremely unhappy to see that elephant riding was still happening and with the extreme heat we felt beyond sad for these majestic intelligent animals. Ayutthaya needs to do better as does Thailand in general. We were also frustrated with the shear large number of people taking up space for long periods of time for their 'selfies'.

Great place to see lots of ancient stupa and prangs.
Great place to see lots of ancient stupa and prangs. The detail on them is not as good as at Phimai, but they’re an awful lot to see. I highly recommend getting a bicycle to be able to get around them all more easily and for cycling through the huge park areas, as well as for exploring the areas off the island.

The hotel location is great, in the center and close to places I want to go
The atmosphere is very fresh and peaceful, with many trees and birds.
The room was quite good and quiet. I like the way the owner takes care of some small details for the hotel: keys, hangers, decorations.
In addition, the hotel provides free bicycles for guests, which is very convenient
The dining area has a microwave, coffee maker, and some packaged pastries (I really liked them).
Last but not least, the owner is very friendly and hospitable
The owner of this accommodation was very friendly. she was like a guestmum and made my stay super comfortable. It’s possible to leave the backpack there during the day and she tries to make you feel like at home. “this is your home” she explained to me.
When I booked this room I wasn’t sure how the stay would be. Now I know, it was definitely the right choice. If you are a backpacker and don’t need a modern hotel, book this accommodation. For me it was the right start for my backpacking tour through thailand.
I love this place! Internet, room, staff, quiet ambiance and just overall great service. I was staying at another hotel and had to move due to poor internet. I am so glad I found this place. They helped me talk to the TuKTuK driver and when I had an issue with the internet they solved it quickly.
The hospitality was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a wonderful affordable place to stay in Ayutthaya.
The hotel made me feel like I stayed at home. All staff there were extremely amazing and helpful. I felt really comfortable staying there. The hotel is located at the heart of the town, near Wat ratchaburana and pretty much where you can easily start your journey by walking. I think this hotel is all things where you are searching for your stay at Atuthhaya. Definitely recommended. 😍😘
The hotel is one of only a few hotels actually in the old city. Ten to fifteen minute walk to historical park and ruins. Hotel room has all the usual amenities but the balcony ( if one could call it that ) was minute. Although staff not used to dealing with westerners they were very friendly and helpful even offering to lend us their own umbrellas. Breakfast was ok.
Amazing, one of best hostels in Thailand, amazing hosts, they take care of everything you need, they cook delicious dinner qnd breakfast, qlso you have noodles, biscuits, fruit, coffee, water, etc. During all day for you. Really nice garden, shadow and sun areas, possibility to rent bycicle or motorbike 50/300bhat. Wonderful stay and perfect place for chill and relax.
I liked it. It's a no fuss hotel in the center of Ayutthaya. Check in and check out were immediate, which I always appreciate. They don't hassle you for tours and that kind of thing which I also like.
It's right on the main road so getting around and navigating is easy.
The room has a fridge, beds are decently comfortable, and the staff were very nice.
What a wonderful hotel, one of the nicest places we have stayed at during our many visits to Southeast Asia. A beautiful oasis in the middle of the city, so lush and peaceful - simply wonderful! The staff were lovely and helpful all throughout our stay and the food was super delicious! We will surely stay there again!!!

All in all one of the best stays I had in Thailand! Thank you again ❤️
Overall, everything is very good. Polite staff, very good service, clean accommodations, convenient location for traveling. Not far from tourist attractions The hotel area is very shady and will definitely go back to stay again.
the hotel is located in the old island where we can cycle to the historical park easily. The atmosphere and architecture are beautiful and embedded in the historical theme. The breakfast was great and the staff are very friendly.
Stylish, modern hotel. Lovely staff.
Delicious, large breakfasts.
Fantastic location convenient to all the sites.
Amazing views from the dining area and the river-facing rooms.
The staff was very very friendly, everything was made with love. It is very clean and comfortable, the location was great. One of the best places I stayed in Thailand!
